As far as finding vowels goes, I think we might end up ROTing a final solution to get a valid login/password combo. Problem is, we have to keep proposing answers until Chelsea gives one the nod. Also, I find it really amazing (and confusing) how many patterns show up in the amount of numbers we have to work with.

I've been wondering, and I think it's because someone else proposed this a long time ago, if maybe we should look at the cardinal points as one set of numbers, and the half-cardinal points as the other set. It may be that there is a different counting or evaluating method for each of these 14 sets, but I'm hoping that once someone has gotten something confirmed, it should go smoother and quicker. (Of course, that confirmation part seems to be the sticking point! ;) I keep counting from N, but I'm also thinking that the reference to clocks means we should count from NE (where 1 o'clock sort of is). Ah, whatever. Back to the scribbled numbers!

I've found some neat patterns that don't stay consistent enough to stick with, though. For instance, in G1, looking at just the four cardinal points and going from smallest to largest, the pattern (to get from one number to the next) is:
13
13
25
...
and the pattern for the half-cardinal points is:
1
21
21
...

Not much, but it keeps nagging at me...
