This was a random piece of code added to the page as an accent when it was designed - enough people were interested in it that we offered an shrinkwrapped early PID box to anyone who could place it. Trevor Smith did - it was the first 7 bytes of the 7th CODE resource in Marathon Infinity.
Sorry - it has nothing to do with this. ;)
