I'm not normally too much into the arithmetic stuff and other numerology (especially summing digits), but I did notice earlier that the sixth clock allows you to go
100 - 20 = 80
80 - 66 = 14
14 - 10 = 4
Leaving only the pair of 15s.
Why start with 100? Well, the numbers seem to be base 10, and there are a few other pairs and sets on other dials that get you to 100 (3 + 97, 51 + 47 + 2, 113 - 13, etc).
The problem with numerology is that it's far too easy to be misled by coincidence...
