You're right. In the Lewis diagrams, there are two electrons on each side of the atom, and so I though there were two shared electrons. My bad.

Yes, but I wasn't trying to make a molecule. Chelsea said "What was worse, she couldn't tell what was supposed to be there, and what wasn't. 'Is there something missing? Something not? Something else?' she asked herself. She saw the patterns, she thought, but couldn't be sure."

See, maybe each dial is missing numbers, and the links to the other dials (via the shared numbers) provide the missing digits. I don't know, is this too confusing? Help me out here.
