Hehehhe... We all put up a good fight.
One problem, although I see no easy soluton for future fanfests, was that Powerbooks are not well suited for Marathon, ranging from difficult for mousers to just plain impossible for a keyboarder like me. There was only 1 extended keyboard and 2 or 3 people who had to use it.
