Well, mnemesis mentioned that the "[" could stand for "M" or 1000. 1000 + 1 = 1001. Combine that with the mention of "tales," and all I can think of is 1001 Arabian Nights. Does make sense to anyone else? I don't know how that would turn into a letter. Maybe something to do with Sheherazad (sp?) ...
