The Treble clef is also known as the G clef, because of the way the lower line curles around the 2nd line of the stave. And as we all know the 2nd line of the stave is a G (Take a look at the link below to see what I mean), so if that is supposed to be a treble clef I'd think that G5 = G. That's my take on it.
