First day of Calculus, and the teacher draws a symbol on the board that he calls a delta. It bore a striking resemblance to the G5 symbol. Anyway, in Calc, delta is used to represent the distance on a number line between a function value and its limit. So, G5 could stand for a D (distance) or an L (limit).
