Smack me if I seem out of line here or someone has mentioned this before. I've been trying to keep up with all of this but there's only so many hours for me to goof off with in a day =(. I always assumed the 3 games of tic-tac-toe was a reference to the puzzle itself. 3 puzzles within the puzzle, or "games" to be played. The glyphs(1), the numbers in the circles(2), and how they correspond to each other(3).
