The ESE clock company seems like a very valid lead. Watching clocks spin, a company that specialized in standardized time...it makes lots of sense.
The "U" model line seems somewhat unlikely, though. It's a little too subtle and unimportant. We've got to find something major there if it's to be considered valid...
