I think I'm simply to rigid to understand Chelsea & Co.'s chaos, but what if the ACG is a sequence of numbers? A=1, C=3, G=7 as many have pointed out already, but what if you take it a step further?
1+2=3, 3+4=7, 7+6=13=M
1+2=3, 3+4=7, 7+8=15=O
You get those two letters either by adding an increasing number of two's, or by adding an increasing factor of two. Anyway, it's something to put out there - I get a feeling that the DNA bit is either a red herring or we're reading much too deeply into it...
