Here's a semi-silly idea for Dial #4.
Another name for it is Glyph 4, shorthand is "G4."
Tic-tac-toes in 3s...building on Simon Marek's observations, if we go for 3-D tic-tac-toe but we stick with the 3s (curiously, I've only played 3-D tic-tac-toe in a 4x4x4 matrix), well...you get a cube.
G4 Solution: It's the G4 Cube!!! ; ) -- yes, I know somewhere someone mentioned the G4 Cube before, but not like this in a while, I think! Holy Mac(kerel)!

I'll just be amazed if that's the answer. ; P
