---"T" is actually thymine. "ACG" codes for the amino acid threonine (Thr). Btw, I looked it up, and threonine is apparently pronounced like "three-a-neen" ("a" part as in "uh," "neen" part as in "sheen"). part is troublesome to me...if it were "nine" I'd be much more willing to join the "309" camp since, well, it'd sound more like 3-0-9...but even if the "nine" in threonine _was_ pronounced "nine," it still wouldn't be a perfect fit.

So I guess you could say I still don't know whether ACG means an amino acid or not : P.
