Hmm...but that presupposes that the second player to go doesn't have a clue as to what's going on, doesn't it ; )? Most people who play simple tic-tac-toe will invariably reach the "cat's game" so long as only the 3x3 grid is involved, so long as the "weaker" of the two players has some competence in the game. If we're to do tic-tac-toe the logical way, the opening move for most people, I'd imagine, is an X right in the center.

Oh, and I'm still not entirely sure yet as to whether we can use Dial #4 for tic-tac-toe analysis. I checked out symbols.com on someone's mention of it recently on this board, I found that a symbol looking EXACTLY like a tic-tae-toe board, except with borders, apparently stands for "underground cave" or something like that, if we take the source to be true. Check under the word index -- cave signs. It also leads to other like symbols and their offshoots? Maybe we're just being referenced to underground caves again. Maybe not. Interesting nonetheless : ).
