DNA is composed of nucleotides. there are four of these. (Well - five if you count Uracyl, but let's not go there). These are Adenine, Guanine, Cytosine & Thymine. Threonine (abbreviation THR), on the other hand, is an Amino Acid, NOT to be confused with Thymine. It takes a sequence of three nucleotides to code for an Amino Acid. The sequence of A - C - G produces the Amino Acid Threonine.
