Glyph 2 likely has something to do w/ binary arithmetic... the 32 w/ the bar underneath suggests it to me. (the bar signifying a series of bits turned on & off, although I think the exact number of dark bits & light bits doesn't really matter).

Reading some of the things Chelsea has said makes me wonder if we don't need to treat the dials more as a clock face...
